WHERE YOU CAN FIND THEM: South Vale, Wood Side Apartments, Blue Creek Apartments,
Dark South Vale, Toluca Prison, Baldwin Mansion (Born From A Wish)
BEST WEAPONS TO DEFEAT THEM WITH: Patient demons are easy to beat down with the
aid of your wooden plank or even better, the steel pipe. My favorite method is to spray them with the Hyper Spray and finish
them off brutally with the chain saw. They don't hesitate to spit acid on James if you get too close, so best to use the chain
saw by sneaking up from behind. While they're crawling around on their bellies, you can finish them off quickly with the handgun
or shotgun, if surrounded. I don't usually use the hunting rifle on these guys, although you certainly could pick them off
from down the street!

BEST WEAPONS TO DEFEAT THEM WITH: Steel pipe, all the way, baby! Easy to pick
off with a handgun, though, although not as fun.
WHERE YOU CAN FIND THEM: Wood Side Apartments, Blue Creek Apartments, Toluca
Prison, Secret Passage in Baldwin Mansion (Born From A Wish)
BEST WEAPONS TO DEFEAT THEM WITH: If James gets close enough, press the X button
to stomp on them. You can also start running and hope to squish them in the process. If they are really giving you a hard
time, pick them off easily with the handgun.
WHERE YOU CAN FIND THEM: Brookhaven Hospital, Dark South Vale
BEST WEAPONS TO DEFEAT THEM: If one is pursuing you from down the hall, shoot
her with the handgun, then stomp on her to finish her off. If you fail to deliver the final blow, she will resurrect at nearly
full strength and come back for you! If you are being ambushed by more than one in a room, kill them off quickly with the
shotgun. Try not to get caught between them lest you get tag teamed! (and not in a good way, guys!)
WHERE YOU CAN FIND THEM: Dark South Vale on Saul Street, Labyrinth of
Toluca Prison, Dark Lakeview Hotel
BEST WEAPONS TO DEFEAT THEM WITH: Just run past them as fast as you can, dodging
them the entire way. Trying to shoot underhangers through the floor is a waste of time and ammo.
WHERE TO FIND THEM: The first doorman we encounter is "Angela's Father",
a boss in the Toluca Prison Labyrinth. A few more can be found in the Lakeview Hotel.
BEST WEAPONS TO DEFEAT THEM: Definitely the shotgun - handgun bullets
seem to graze off their heavy frames. Don't let them get too close, they will kill in only three attacks, so forget about
melee unless you're armed with either the yellow, purple or green Hyper Spray! (see weapons for details)
BOSSES: **WARNING!! SPOILER ALERT! THIS CONTAINS INFO ABOUT THE PLOT LINE AND ENDING!**
1) PYRAMID HEAD - Blue Creek Apartments; avoid his Great Knife and run to the
other side of the room. Keep shooting until you hear sirens. You can tell you are hitting Pyramid Head by the loud clank of
his helmet. Don't try to follow him down the stairs or he will quickly turn around and kill you!
2) HANGERS - Brookhaven Hospital; blast them with the shotgun before they get
too close. If they are allowed to swing by James, they will grab and strangle him with their feet. Each hanger will die after
about 2-3 shots each, depending on what difficulty level you're playing on.
3) DOORMAN - Toluca Prison Labyrinth; James walks in just in time to see this
creature threatening Angela. She screams and calls him "Daddy"...shoot it several times with the shotgun, but watch your health
closely. Heal after each time it grabs you.
4) EDDIE DOMBROWSKI - Toluca Prison Meat Storage; don't let him pull his
gun, as one shot will put you in serious red status! I like to arm myself with the hunting rifle and keep shooting before
he can move. If you prefer a more mobile fight, arm yourself with the shotgun and hide behind one of the hanging meats. Eddie
will come closer to investigate, then blast him. If you corner Eddie, he will punch you. Too bad you can't punch back. Oh,
well.
5) TWO PYRAMID HEADS - Lakeview Hotel Lobby; these guys are a bit tricky.
They move pretty fast, so keep moving at all costs! Run to an opposite corner, shoot them, strafe to the side to avoid their
spears, then run to another corner and repeat the process. I find that the shotgun works best. When you inflict enough damage,
they will retreat to the center of the carpet and commit suicide on their spears.
6) FINAL BOSS - MARY/MARIA DEMON - Lakeview Hotel Roof; Arm yourself with
the hunting rifle, because the trick with her is keeping your distance. She wants to be close to James so she can strangle
him with her long, snake-like tail. Run to the opposite side of the roof and begin shooting with the rifle. Strafe to avoid
her swarm of moths and watch your health closely. If she grabs you, move the controls back and forth to wriggle free. Once
she falls to the ground, finish her off with one final shot.
